Preprosta in elegantna sladica iz le nekaj sestavin: Limonin posset se bo v vročih poletnih dneh še posebej prilegal.
Limonin posset je tradicionalna britanska sladica, ki navdušuje s svojo svilnato teksturo in kombinacijo sladkobe ter svežine. Če imate radi okuse limone, pripravite ti preprosto sladico, ki vam bo vzela le nekaj minut.

Potrebujete:
- 200 g sladke smetane
- 75 g sladkorja
- 25–30 ml sveže iztisnjenega limoninega soka
- ščepec drobno naribane limonine lupinice
- 1 čajna žlička vaniljevega izvlečka
Priprava:
Limone prerežite na pol in izdolbite sredico. Iz nje boste iztisnili sok, lupino pa shranite za serviranje.
V kozico vlijte sladko smetano in ji dodajte sladkor ter limonino lupinico. Dobro premešajte in segrevajte do rahlega vretja. Smetana naj rahlo vre tri do štiri minute, nato pa kozico odstavite in primešajte limonin sok in izvleček vanilje.
Ko se zmes zgosti, jo precedite in počakajte, da se nekoliko ohladi, nato pa jo z žlico prelijte v izdolbeno limonino lupino. Po želji lahko sladico servirate tudi v kozarčkih.

Sladico postavite na hladno za dve uri, da se strdi, nato pa jo postrezite. Zaradi svoje lahkotnosti in svežine se bo odlično prilegala po kosilu ali pa po sprehodu po vročem soncu.

I added about 2-3 tbsp to each lemon half but you can make this in small jars or ramekins. The portions are pretty small but it’s quite sweet and sour. Let it come to a slight simmer and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes. Makes sure it never boils, just simmmers. The color of the heavy cream will darken and it will become a bit thicker. 2)Remove from heat and add the lemon juice and vanilla and mix around. You’ll see it thicken immediately. 3)Run the mixture through a sieve to remove the lemon zest. 4)Let it chill for a minute or two.
